Park Min-young was born on March 4, 1986 in Seoul. The only thing known about the childhood years of the movie star is that she grew up with her older sister in a wealthy family in the most prestigious district of Seoul, Cheongdam-dong, was fond of music, loved to draw and was engaged in horse riding. In the 2006 melodramatic comedy TV movie I’m a Teacher, the rising star played Eun Byul, the capricious but very pretty daughter of a crime boss, along with Kim Yoo Pin, Dan Ji, and Choi Seung Hyun. Ming’s next success was her participation in the long-running romantic horror film Hometown Legends. The film became the long-awaited third part of the cult series of the 80s and 90s, consisting of one-act mini-dramas.

Delightful special effects, the mesmerizing, if somewhat specific, atmosphere of Korean fairy tales, and, of course, the exceptional acting skills of Min and her colleagues, gave the project the status of the most popular series of the year, gathering viewers of all ages and fans of various genres on TV screens. The role of Gumiho, a mystical character in ancient Asian fairy tales, who lives for thousands of years and turns either into a fox or into a beautiful girl, brought Ming four film awards, including the award for Best Actress.

In the period from 2008 to 2010, Park played in several television projects, and in 2011, viewers saw her in the serial comedy-detective film City Hunter. The touching role of clumsy, always getting into trouble Na Na, forced to pay for the maintenance of her father, who will never wake up from a coma, cemented Ming’s fame as one of the brightest and most versatile young actresses. In the project, she collaborated with actors such as Lee Min Ho, Lee Jun Hyuk, Yang Jin Sung, and Kim Sang Joon. Despite being constantly busy filming, in 2013 the star was able to graduate from Dongguk University. A lot of noise was made by Min’s confession, which she made by posting her photos on social networks before and after plastic surgery.
