Mark Ronson was born on September 4, 1975 in one of the most influential families in Britain. The ancestors of the artist and his two younger twin sisters Charlotte and Samantha, who immigrated from Austria and Lithuania at the end of the 19th century, had the surname Aaronson, but the boy’s paternal grandfather shortened it to a more convenient and not so clearly related to the Jewish roots option Ronson. In the early 80s, Mark’s mother Ann divorced his father Lawrence Ronson, a businessman and producer, and Mick Jones became her second husband. Career

Since childhood, Mark saw his future only in music, he recorded his first mixtapes at the age of 15, when he plunged into hip-hop culture, and at 19 he was already a fashionable DJ, for whom New York clubs literally fought. The unique style of the young musician, harmoniously combining different directions and stylistic devices, attracted the attention of fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger and he invited Mark to become part of his advertising campaign team as a composer and DJ at a luxurious fashion show in 1997. The following year, P. Diddy himself hired Mark as a DJ for his birthday, which was undoubtedly a kind of advertisement and had an impact on the growth of the young artist’s popularity.

In the early 2000s, Ronson began working on his first record, the tracks of which he recorded with Ghostface Killa, Aya, Q Tip, Jack White and other popular rap artists. In the US, “HereComes the Fuzz” was not particularly successful, but in Britain it became the event of the musical year, earning favorable reviews and rave reviews.

In 2002, the artist began dating singer Rashida Jones, however, the engagement, which they announced in 2003, was terminated.

For several years, Mark was single, in 2011 he married the singer and actress, the beautiful Parisian Josephine de la Boom, but the couple’s relationship lasted until 2017 and ended in a divorce by mutual agreement. The official divorce proceedings ended in October 2018.
