Biography of a family psychologist

Satya Das (real name – Sergey Yakovlev) was born in 1972 in Dnepropetrovsk (today – Dnipro, Ukraine). The lecturer lived in his hometown before serving in the army. Ros Sergey is in a complete family and has many brothers. The teenage hobby of the future psychologist was rock climbing, in this area he became the champion of the city. After climbing, he began to engage in martial sports: judo, karate, taekwondo.

Satya Das studied at the 59th city school. Later, the former student arrived there already at parent meetings, being a parent. After studying at school, Satya enrolled in a technical school, becoming a food technologist. But as he himself confesses, he never learned to cook. The study seemed colorful only because of the environment and pleasant communication with peers.

After graduating from a technical school, Satya served in the Soviet army, in Baikonur. The strict and harsh army left a negative mark on the speaker. Satya was rescued by his passion for religions, in particular Krishnaism. Then vegetarianism, hermitage in Sochi and listening to religious festivals and lectures awaited him. After a year and a half of living in the temple, Satya returned to his family and left for Dnepropetrovsk. There he devoted 3 years to the spiritual academy, believing that spirituality is higher than psychology. Also during this period, the adherent found himself a spiritual mentor, at the ceremony of accepting a spiritual teacher he was given the name “Satya Das” (“servant of absolute truth”, as the psychologist himself deciphers it).

For a long time, Satya taught vegetarian cooking courses and attended vegetarian festivals. Since 2002, he has held about 15 festivals. The lecturer has many hobbies, including holding conversations with children. In 2015, Satya Das was awarded the title of “Honorary Teacher of the Eidos School”. In this school, Satya lectures children and teenagers about life and relationships.

Living at home and going through all the questions of psychology and philosophy from the inside, Satya periodically led general philosophical clubs. Gradually, it began to unite into a single style, ancient knowledge and psychology became the foundation for current problems. Now lectures for women have become the key activity of Satya Das. Satya met his wife while still at a technical school, in 1987. Joint study and friendship led to the wedding and the birth of a son. But such relations occurred only after the army. The psychologist admits that he did not beautifully look after the chosen one, because he did not even admit that he would be her husband.

Sergey’s wife radically changed his life, forcing him to move forward and increasing his self-esteem. The couple had a discord during the period of the man’s hermitage in Sochi. After a long time, the family still managed to reunite and continue a cloudless life. Now the wife supports and inspires her husband. According to the lecturer, everything that he knows and can do is the full merit of his wife. The couple also has a son.

Often people call a lecturer-psychologist a swindler. This does not prevent him from gathering 500, 800 people for each lecture and visiting about 100 cities a year. He visits many countries and works without stamps, with his own unique private philosophy. Satya prepares plans for lectures in advance. The philosopher also published more than a dozen books about relationships and parenting.
